why should I SWITCH FROM ANTIPERSPIRANT TO DEODORANT?

In short, antiperspirants typically contain aluminium, which is used to prevent sweat from getting to the surface of the skin by blocking the sweat glands. There’s a growing concern that if the skin absorbs these aluminum compounds, they can negatively affect the estrogen receptors of breast cells and therefore cause breast cancer. I SWEAT A LOT. WILL YOUR DEODORANTS KEEP ME DRY?

Our deodorant putty contains finely milled white kaolin clay, which is known for its moisture absorbing properties. With regular use, our customers do find that they stay dry as well as odour free.

IS yOUR DEODORANT ALUMINIUM FREE?

Daily Dose Naturally is against the use of aluminium due to its adverse effects on our health and well being. We have, therefore, created a deodorant that is entirely aluminium free. We use bi-sodium carbonate (baking soda), which is gentle on your skin and acts as a natural odour and moisture absorbing agent.

HOW LONG DOES A 54 GRAM JAR LAST?

A 54 gram jar will typically last anywhere between four to six months with regular use.

HOW DO I APPLY IT?

Many of our customers have noted that they like to use the top side of a finger nail to scoop a pea sized amount of product. The putty will begin to soften once applied to the underarm skin. Continue rubbing in a circular motion until the deodorant is fully absorbed.

HOW MUCH DO I NEED TO USE?

Most people tend to use about a lingonberry sized amount of deodorant. For those unfamiliar with this delicious swedish treat, it’s more or less the size of a green pea. One appliaction per day is often enough, though you may want to reapply after a work out or before a big date.

ARE ESSENTIAL OILS SAFE TO USE ON MY SKIN?

We always recommend doing a spot test if you are at all concerned about skin sensitivity. If you are pregnant, many doctors recommend cutting back on essential oil use. That being said, each 54 gram jar contains a total of 20 drops. This is not usually an amount that would cause any adverse side effects. Consult your health care provider if you are unsure.

I HAVE SENSITIVE SKIN. DO YOU HAVE A GENTLEr FORMULA?

Although none of our customers thus far have notified us of any allergic reactions to our deodorants, those of you who prefer a gentler formula may want to try our baking soda and scent free variant, THE NUDE THAT BROKE MY HEART.
